If your Nuwa Pen occasionally stops capturing strokes or splits your writing into multiple notes, it may not be detecting pressure correctly. Here’s what to check:
Check the Ink Refill
Ensure the refill is fully inserted and securely in place. A loose refill can cause inconsistent pressure detection. Read more on how to install your ink cartridge.
Try removing and reinserting the refill firmly.
Apply Sufficient Pressure
Nuwa Pen requires consistent pressure to detect handwriting properly.
If you’re writing with a very light touch, try applying slightly more pressure.
Consider Your Writing Surface
Writing on a hard, stable surface works best.
If you’re writing in a thick notebook or stack of papers, air pockets between pages may cause uneven pressure.
Try placing a flat, firm surface beneath your paper to ensure consistent contact.
Watch the LED Indicator
The green light means Nuwa Pen is capturing your handwriting.
If it briefly flashes white before turning green again, the pressure sensor may not be consistently engaged.
By ensuring a secure refill, firm writing pressure, and a stable surface, you’ll get the best performance from your Nuwa Pen.
