Nuwa Pen is currently not HIPAA compliant.

While Nuwa Pen offers secure note-taking and cloud syncing, it does not provide the specific encryption and security guarantees required for HIPAA compliance, such as a Business Associate Agreement (BAA).

If you need to store Protected Health Information (PHI), we recommend checking with your organization’s compliance team before using Nuwa Pen. You can still use the pen offline and manually transfer notes to a secure system if needed.
